The 2nd
Annual Girls Who Surf Amateur Wahine Surf Contest will be held to recognize
surf talent and develop community between female surfers.
This year's
event is again well supported by the community and businesses. Because
of their support of your surfing, there's something for everyone.
August 18 and 19th, 2007 at Kewalo Bowls.
Shortboard, longboard,
and body board divisions will be available for 14 and under through Aunties
divisions. 15 minute heats. Famous females of the surfing community
have volunteered to judge the
event (Melissa Ling, Brooke Holt, Pinoi). Come to enjoy the day and
hang out with girl surfers.
Registration fees for single division
are
$35, additional divisions are $25. Food, entertainment, and prizes.
