"My two hours with Mito were such a highlight of my time on Oahu I am telling lots of people who are going to the islands that this is a "must do" activity. We had so much fun together and I actually was able to stand, sort of. I have balance problems and thought this was something I would try and enjoy, no expectation of success. I am still not the best in the balance arena, but I did stand on two feet without hands--an accomplishment for me and a credit to Mito's skill as a teacher."

Both instructors had a lot of patience and were very enthusiastic about teaching our small group of students. We had no idea that surfing was such hard work, but the instructors made it fun anyway. I finally caught a wave properly, stood up, and rode it a long way in, which made all the challenges worth it!
